GNRHS tentatively plans convention locations a couple-three years in
advance. As others have stated, they do try to coordinate timing and locale
with the NP society.  

They also try to rotate their meeting location through the western, middle
and eastern territories on a regular basis.  A suggestion for a combined
convention would be more likely to be favorably received if the early
planning recognized those patterns.  Last year's GNRHS convention was in
Duluth, so it would probably be 2011 at the earliest for an eastern get
together, 2013 for something in the middle (Billings/Laurel, anyone).
