Spent many hours in the sand pits and cement plant with your grandpa. We thrived on 16 hour locals in late 60's. During that time about half of the Omaha Div. work force in summer was assigned to locals hauling sand and gravel and cement from Ashgrove in Louisville, Ne., and various pits in the area along the Platte River.

List,

Regarding the run-through hotshot GI-67 and 68, where was the interchange point between the CB&Q and UP?  Does the symbol refer to Grand Island, NE?

Thanks,  Fred R.
