Was there an interchange in the SW quadrant of the crossing, so the train could simply roll through? (presumably with a crew-change).
Was the crossing at Grand Island always split-level, with the CB&Q on top?

Thanks, Fred R.

Grand Island, Ne. Is correct!

List,

Regarding the run-through hotshot GI-67 and 68, where was the interchange point between the CB&Q and UP?  Does the symbol refer to Grand Island, NE?

Thanks,  Fred R.
