I don't own one, but believe the Spectrum 2-8-0s have about 60" drivers, a bit large for the C&S, and more suited to those with 63" prototypes, such as the Rock Island, Mopac, Maine Central, etc.. In

The 4978 was one of five (I think) 01a 2-8-2s leased temporarily to the C&S in the fall of 1958, due to two bad head-ons, which took several diesels out of service. They worked into the 1959 beet cam
