I've read that the Northwestern Steel & Wire Co. in Sterling, Illinois tried
to make a giant 0-8-0 out of one of the Q 2-8-2s it was scrapping.  The
engine derailed frequently, so was sent to the furnaces.  Did anyone ever
see a photo of this engine?
