With the Walthers cars, you will have to take the effort to ensure that the paint scheme and trucks (and other details) are accurate for the car. That isn't the case with the Branchline models. Walth

They will (look compatible) - except you will have to modify the trucks (and likely the windows) of the Walthers cars. The trucks (and the subsequent height issue) is a problem on the Walthers cars.
