Okay all, this may seem a dumb question but I will explain at the end. Looking at Randall's Passenger Car Library Vol 1, it appears that some dome cars like Silver Buckle/Brand and Silver Cup/Kettle,

The Burlington did run the KCZ parlor-obs cars backwards in Twin Cities Zephyr service, but I believe that the dome seats could be rotated. There was a lively series of letters in Trains Magazine on

I believe it was the dome coaches off the NCL that had the front windows plated over. At least it was in the NP car I rode in to Jacksonville, Fla. When the Q ran the parlor-obs cars backwards, they

The IC only plated over the front windows on the domes they bought not the NP Sleeper Domes. IC purchased six domes from the Mo Pac 3 were Budd and 3 were Pullman Standard, these were the domes that
