Hmmm. I'm returning to the hobby after a several year hiatus, and am pretty much starting over. I have been wrestling with the scale issue, and keep coming down on the side of HO. I love the size of

Charlie and List, For research purposes, that is so I can keep track of the buildings as they move around and/or are built and razed, is there a gauge track smaller than N ? I know the next size down

Charlie' I hear ya' and don't argue with your approach. I'm not as particular as I should be about how accurate the detail is on a loco or boxcar (or waycar. I've scratch-built a whole fleet of Burli

Charlie, I meant to ask you -- Don't you appreciate the operation you get out of N scale? It seems to me that you're benefiting greatly by being able to model the Galesburg facilities, with a 300-car

DaleSince 1985 there has been no operational reason not to go N Scale. In general the quality level is higher than HO and N Scalers don't mind paying for stuff that runs well. I don't think about it
