As Charlie Vlk said, recently photos have appeared which show the roof louver detail very well on the Phase I E5s (9909 - 9912 A&B). Attached are two of the photos which have been previously posted. According to Bulletin 57, the E5Bs had to be operated with front end forward only to provide adequate cooling. The louver orientation did not provide proper cooling with the unit in the reverse position. There were no Phase II E5B units. All of the E5 Phase II units (9913A  9914 & 9915 A&B) had the same louver arrangement as the E6 model.
