My guess is that these were MAIN trains...MAIN trains were certainly not low priority trains which I would assume that you implied by your "got stuck in the hole" comment....BTW...I wonder how many know what MAIN stands for??? Pete

Copied verbatim is an order that no 48,no 44 ,first and second 50 received at Savanna,IL on 12/17/42. These are all passenger trains and only 48 stops at only Polo and Oregon. The others make no stops.
