Larry,

By late '66 or '67, a PRR-CB&Q-UP power pool from Conway (or Enola) to North Platte was in operation.  I'm assuming it was an extension of sorts of the
CB&Q-UP pool that started as early as '59 or '60.   One sees shots of various combinations of hood units of the three RR's, on various trains.  Someone else
can better comment about what CB&Q schedule this might have been, but clearly the power is part of the usual pool operation.

Neat shot- thanks for sharing.

Fred R.

Okay, now I've got another shot here I have questions about. Anyone know/guess/speculate about what this train might have been and why it would have had only PRR and UP power (and it looks like those two middle engines are UP cabless units)?

Larry
