Nelson, The Q did not re-letter Pullman sleepers to "Burlington" on the letterboard as long as the cars were in Pullman lease. The Walthers sleepers are incorrect. When cars were withdrawn from Pullman lease, they typically painted out the Pullman letterboard and left it blank. They also tended to paint out the car name and letter it CB&Q, with a car number. Again exceptions exist. I have not seen a photo of a Q Pullman sleeper with Burlington on the letterboard. Lounges, diners, and observations - yes. Sleepers, no. Many sleepers stayed in Pullman lease into the 1960's. The books I have access to list both car names and car numbers, but were both names and numbers used on sleepers in the late 1940s and early 1950s?
