I was not considering joint publications, just a joint meet every so many yrs 
(although a Hills Line publication was a fact at one time as the forefunner to 
the various 'prototype' modeling mags was a series put out by Bob Longo in the 
mid-late 70's by region.  The NW region was Q, GN, NP, SP&S & Milw.

Sorry Gerald, but that would be a real issue. The GNHS does not sell 
their publications to non-members - including those of obviously 
interested societies (like the BRHS). They don't sell them through 
hobby shops either (unless this has all changed). Which means, your 
concept of a true joint meeting and actually sharing information that 
would be of interest to all parties is somewhat problematical (as I'm 
sure the concept would also apply to other areas of information 
exchange). . Unless they change their minds, or make a one time 
modification.
