Wow, the best info I can give you is to get Burlington Bulletin #42 on the
Expo. As far as Branchline cars go I am completely sold on them. I think the
Walthers cars are good bot not as finely detailed as Branchline. They go the
next step further. They sit at the right height. The Walthers look a little
high and the roof detailing is a little plain. the trick with the BL trucks is
to not get the sideframes too tight. They should roll like happy piggies. You
may have to substitute some Evergreen styrene for the brake supports ( or not
). They do improve on the kits as you buy the newer stock. You may have to
foreshorten the brake rods as they can foul the trucks. Mod-U-Traks radius is
30" and I have trouble with one of the cars. Look at American Lasers site for
plexi inserts and window shades too!.

I'm modeling the 30s and 40s. Working on the Exposition Flyer. Now using
Walthers sleepers. I've heard good things about Branchline cars. My
question is what Branchline Pullman cars to order to for use on a Burlington
train of those yrs. Were they just standard Pullman cars, or was there
something special or different about Pullman cars used on Q trains?
