I agree, Lyle. The biggest problem I have with trying to switch, especially in
a yard with all of the trackwork, is trying to identify which track is which.
The names or numbers of each track siding can be turned on and hang overhead
each, but unless you are in just the right position, you can't read them
because they jumble together and block each other. A simple exercise in
shunting a car can get frustrating because you may have to run the train/loco
to a spot where you can find AND be able to read the track identifier, then try
to keep straight which one it is (in a yard this can get very frustrating).
I also don't care for the way the turnout position indicator/throw is done.
You can turn it on which means it pops up to obscure part of your view out the
windshield. It indicates the position of the turnout directly in FRONT of your
engines, but when running multiple lashups, sometimes it gets confusing which
is forward and which is backward without constantly having to switch between
outside and in-cab views.
