I am both excited and disappointed at the Broadway Limited news. It
sounds like it will be a great model, but the small number boards and
black stripes are disappointing (since P2K already did the small
number board E7's). At least if they were the large number board
units, even if they did release them in black, us later era modelers
could redo the stripes to red and have have a very nice unit in
addition to our small number board P2K E7's.

BTW, as I recall, GN also had the big (F7 style) number boards on
their E7's, as well as PC (think they were NYC units) and several
other roads. So I wonder if Broadway Limited or P2K are considering a
release of their E7's with the big number boards???
