The Milw kept a switch eng at Rochelle as well as at least two on the Q. The Milw ran a pair of freights which often met between Steward Jct and Flag Center. These ran from Ladd to Beloit(I think) so

The neat part about the Burlington Bridge is the channel takes a dog leg thru the bridge. So larger tows often need a helper tug to get thru. Course then you get the skipper who knows everything and

Randy With Mike Spoor's help I scanned and burned to CD all the track charts for the CB&Q both Lines East and West. I sold them at the Q meets to raise money for IRM Diesel Dept working on the SD-24.

Try the radar weather maps on Weather.com for up to date maps about as good as it gets you just have to hunt as the Army lines do not show on the RR track charts. Or try USGS Maps and or their site S

Number boards would be lite on the id unit of the consist only. Generally the lead unit but not always if motors were added or set out in route. Used on train orders and lineups so were needed for me
