I had to reduce the resolution in order to email four photos on one group. 
However, the original resolution that we have available for each photo is 
generally not a great deal better. I have looked at the front number boards on 
all four of the locomotives and was basically able to come to the same 
conclusion as you did. On one of the locomotives, it may have been the 504, the 
angle and lighting was such that, when enlarged, you can definitely see the 
CB&Q initials painted over on the cab side wall.
