I  not sure if you have checked out the book "The Chicago & West Towns Railways" publishd by thr Central Electric Railfan's Association. I recently found a used copy on Abes Books. Looking through it I see a photo on page 185 that shows a streetcar in front of Lord Lumber, along with the CB&Q  siding to it in 1942.
