Thanks Charley this map really seals the deal. I don't know how my idea of the Armory could fit into this. The map shows Lord owning where I want the Armory. Unless after their merger they sold the west side to the Army. Long shot. Only thing left is a picture of the Hillgrove
Ave. with the diamond and the Street Car in the middle. I am hoping that Zephyr 51 has the picture. I will call the La Grange historical society on Wednesday morning about a picture. But I fear only RR types would think a picture
of RR tracks worthy. Near where I live now Rogers, Springdale, Fayetteville, AR. Serviced by the Frisco every business had a spur track and every town had a Station. It's sad to drive along the track now and see all the track pulled up and the doors closed. Thanks to everyone for your help..
