Charlie's info is from the 1890's I believe the Question was from the 40's or 50's.

Hillgrove and Kensington photo was the location of Lord lumber in the 40's and 50's as it moved from Spring and Hillgrove location to the site of Vail at Hillgrove and Kensington.
Lord's old location at Spring and Hillgrove is the site now of Grayhill. The brick setback building(Grayhill) is the Nagl (Nagel) Locker which was a cold storage facility that was rail served as part of the X.
Color photos were taken today.
Hope this clears up Tom Hammers question.
