Chris, the large images are still there as far as I can tell. I've never
heard of Yahoo compressing the images -- I've sent images to other groups
and to Flickr and they've never been compressed.
Can you give an example of one of the photos someone sent since we changed to
link attachments, that is not seen in its original resolution?
When I click on the download icon on the photo (whether in Photostream
or whatever) it opens a pretty darn large image -- my screen is only 1980x1200
so there's really no point to a 4000x4000 image unless the clarity is perfect,
and none of the images I've pulled up looks perfectly clear at that resolution.
Most of them look sharp enough for me at my screen size.
I just downloaded a shot of CBQ #4961, resolution is 2100 x 1238. This was sent
by Hol on Feb 13th -- https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/CBQ/attachments/241635342
I also downloaded a shot of a beet dump from this message also from Feb 13th.

This file is gigantic -- 14 megabytes, 6428 x 4056!!! I'm very glad not to have
images of this size stuffing my inbox!
