Any idea about how long these Swift cars were in use? Swift operated a turkey plant in Keokuk (not sure of dates, but the building was still there a few years ago. I've got a couple of steel reefers but would happily add to the fleet if the wood cars were still on the rails in the early sixties. It was still Swift when I had the pleasure of switching it in the early to mid 70s. The plant was off the "ice track" which was just east of the "coal chute board". It was on the south side at the power plant xing east of town. It was immediately east of Standard Oil. Another place that had interesting aromas.
