With the advent of computer graphics programs the commercial art market has dried up for them. Their popularity in Model Railroading vs. decals was never great; many sets that were unique got applied to blank decal paper as the problem with rub-on dry transfers is that they had no application tolerance.... once they were down, right or not, they were done.
