Hi group. In my future there's some kitbashing of heavyweight cars that will have to happen and I wondered if anyone has had a go at using either a Walthers or Branchline coach as a starting point. I suspect I'll be using ends, roof and floor pretty much as is -- although I'll need to remove the side doors from the vestibule leaving the vestibule itself open to view (so the construction of the vestibule is a consideration). The sides I imagine I'll need to build from scratch for the most part. If anyone is willing to share experiences, I'd appreciate it (or recommend another starting point).
