I searched my 2008 RPCA roster and could not find Northern Lights or
Classic Rail Cars.

Subject: [CBQ] The Round Up
I sent a query to a Canadian Railfan and he was able to come back with
this about The Round Up.
Per "Lepkey & West", she became CN 4 (second), seemingly in 1970, became
CN 95 (fourth) in Oct 1975, became CN 15111 (third) in Mar 1979, was
retired in Sep 1983; sold to Bombardier in Jan 1984, sold to Private
Rail Co. in Toronto (Ron Salisbury) and renamed PRLX 1915 - Northern
Lights in 1986. Sold to Classic Rail Cars, Fairlawn, NJ, in 1994 (per
"Private Varnish"). "Branchline" has it sold to a private owner in
Pennsylvania in 1994.
The trail ends with Classic Rail Cars, who do have a mention of Northern
Lights in this picture. http://classicrail.com/images/lights.JPEG
<http://classicrail.com/images/lights.JPEG> Classic Rail Cars have not
updated their website since 1999, so who knows what the current status
is. I'm trying to contact the person listed on the site to try and find
out more info. The note that the car went to the Northern Central
Railway was partially true. It was owened by Classic Rail Cars and ran
on the Northern Central, which has since gone out of business. I can
find no listing of the Northern Lights in the AARPCO listings and do not
have access to the RPCA listing, so don't know if it possibly shows up
on there.

Pete & Bryan
I received a message from Chuck thanking everyone for their input and
confirming that he had already obtained a copy of the ICC
report from Jim Christen, so he has evidently already made contact with
him..
I've told him that the trail of The Round Up is a bit cold but it may
still be traced.
