During the rebuilding of the cars from steam to HEP one train the last out of
Aurora and the first in was all single deck GN, CNW, any other road that got
rid of single deck coaches. Do not remember how many were in the train but it
filled Depot Track 2. Last brought up and the first taken down at nite.
The Trainmaster in charge of Dispatchers figured if you could work 2nd Trick at
Aurora Tower you could be a train dispatcher. The two guys previous to me had
both gone in to Cicero and I followed now 33 years and two moves later am still
working on the same territory only 2nd trick Union Ave (Lavergne to CUS)

See Spoor Vol. 4 P 86 back side of signal or Spoor Vol.2 P. 44
protected Platform track 2, into the west end of yard and also
turntable. Get in the right section and there was a button on the
front of the machine in the tower which would give you a lunar signal
into the occupied tracks as during the nite a dinky would get stored
on track 2 in the platform.
