If anyone is really serious and so inclined, I have a mint surplus 
black Tenshodo GN L-1 2-6-6-2 which can readily be converted into a 
CB&Q T-1.  I have one that has been converted into a NP Z class and
it looks really good.  The cost was similar to current new brass models
of this size.
