I have been a big fan of Proto 2000 products over the years, but with all
the price increases over the past few years, and with more to come- stupid
mistakes like the door stripes and incorrect Gray on the Blackbird scheme
should not happen. Not for that kind of price tag. The next re-release of
GP-20's will retail for $165.00 without sound. That is a $70.00 price
increase for a re-release that doesn't even involve new tooling!!!! With the
level of the bar being raised every time a new model comes out from Atlas
and the 'new' Athearn RTR line, stupid mistakes will kill you. There are a
lot good players in the game now.
