I was just getting mine out the box today. I have a question about the
paint jobs on the units. Life-Like has painted the gray stripes in a
horizontal pattern on the cab doors. I have never seen any photographs
that indicates that these units were painted this way. Were these the
initial factory paint specification by the Q to EMD for these units, did
Life-Like mess up the art work for the units, or did the factory mess up
the paint job? Considering how much these units cost, I'd hate to think
I've got to take them apart to repaint the cabs in the proper paint scheme.
