I should also have said for David's sake that being on the river front, it
would have been switched by the Q. As near as I can tell, the Q did the
bulk of the local switching in Keokuk except for the Hubinger plant which
the CRI&P also shared access to. Some industries had their own "in house"
switching as well. Keokuk Electrometals had its own GE 44 tonner at one
time, and apparently Hubinger at one time used an old truck with a knuckle
attached to it move cars around.
