stupid idea here probably, but how about employee timetables from the
division you want to emulate. they came out twice a year. how about
timetables from say, 1967, 1968 and 1969 then put it all together on
a sheet of paper. the times probably did not change that much when
they renumbered the trains. some of them they just added 100, but not
on all. depends on the division.

Hi Warren,
Thanks for the reply. Actually, I have what I believe is a CB&Q employee
timetable. It is #2, dated Sunday, April 27, 1969 for the Chicago Region -
Chicago, Ottumwa and Hannibal Divisions. Unfortunately, it only lists
passenger trains. This would lead me to suspect that all the freights were
run as extras, but that doesn't seem to make sense as the operating data
sheets mentions arrival, departure and cut off times. Anyone?
