Rupert I dug around and found paper copies of the track alighnment diagrams. I assume you are talking about the Chicago-Aurora mainlines as the West Chicago branch wasn't even double tracked..... The

Rich, 4th main that I am familiar with was Eola to Downers Grove. It is referenced in Overtons book. Also see the article in Zephyr 59 on "An Evening at Downers Grove" where I make a reference to it.

Rich, One thing is sure.Between the IC at Berwyn and the DesPlaines River there would have been plenty of room for another track on either side of the triple track. In several spots there were spurs

Then there was the elevation from Union Ave to Cicero in about the same time as the elevation at Aurora. Once this was done there was a plan and a very nice book put out on the elevation from Cicero
