John Just having a more detailed look at these early roofed cars. In 1959, 26 GM-4A's were fitted with a removable sectional roof, and reclassed as GM-4C. The cars were 82297, 82342/58, 82471/81, 825

Gerald Any idea when this National Car company started and how long it lasted? According to the Reefer Bulletin, a National Car Company was started in 1949 which I presume was a new corporate entity.
