In Ross Grenard's "Colorado & Southern" are two photos of the Zephyr
Connection under steam power, with a comment that, after the start of the
Denver Zephyr in 1936, the Cheyenne-Denver local was styled as the Zephyr
Connection. In October 1949, the Pioneer Zephyr took over this service for
about 2 years. Can't help beyond that.
