Ray and list, No I haven't used the Walthers as a core kit. I know the underframe details and the interior aren't correct for a dome coach. I was thinking of the roof and dome looking really good. [N

Coach Yard makes a full width diaphragm but I'm not sure if it's prototype for the Budd cars. I know they're really expensive. One of the guys in the club used them on his C&NW 400, they looked fine

All, Remember it's not only the Pullmans you can have "fun" with in your CZ consist. Walthers produced a Pullman Standard Coach in the Rio Grande Paint that would work great behind the baggage car. T

The BLI CZ cars are plated. With the ownership letter boards on the car ends, this makes the cars other than the 6-5 Pullmans, makes the cars un prototype for any other of the Burlington Budd cars. T
