David Streeter is correct on the random assignment of re-lettering, and
my previous post was incorrect. My apologies.
First of all, I was off by one series of cars that got the re-lettering.
It appears that the #740-749 series of cars are still in operation, and some were observed as re-lettered.
Here is what I have been able to observe so far: Re-lettered 'BURLINGTON'
- 743,767, 771,773, 786.
Re-lettered 'BNSF RAILWAY' - 741,744,746,748,750,759,764,766,770,774,775,778,779,781,782,785
and 787.
Other cars are presumed to be re-lettered, but they have not been observed.

I had thought they were random. I will try to make observations and
notes this week to confirm this one way or the other.
