You can always start with, say, the Athearn chassis and scratch a new boiler and cab from styrene. Don Adams wrote a three-part article on doing this beginning with the August, 1999 issue of Mainline Modeler. He used Buterate tubing from Plastruct as the core for the boiler, adding layers ot thin styrene to get the correct shape.
