Thanks for the correction Sam. I knew they made fire hydrants and various 
valves. I thought they also made a pump, but I must be thinking of the yard 
hydrant you mentioned.

I grew up in Oskaloosa and my Dad worked at Iowa Valve for 38 years. My 
brother and I also worked there.
To my knowledge, they never made a hand pump.
I would welcome evidence to the contrary.
(The yard hydrant marked IOWA was not made by them. Rather by Woodford 
(in Cedar Falls?) [not related])
I have two of those.
