      the Dubuque Freight House on page 69. Unfortunately, it is the

          could find out.  I think it's safe to say the No. 953 handled
          both the switching chores in Dubuque and powered the local
          over the Mississippi River Bridge to East Dubuque and
          back. I've attached an image dated 1939 showing the 4-6-0
          exiting the joint IC-CB&Q tunnel at East Dubuque.  I do
          not know if the local included a coach at that time for
          passengers connecting with Q mainline passenger trains, but
          maybe Gerald will know.  Gerald's our resident expert on the
          LaCrosse Division and old Chicago Burlington & Northern.
