Here is an update regarding the photograph of Kansas City Zephyr American Royal Zephyr excursion train returning to Kansas City Union Station in January of 1953 with a correction from my earlier post;
you can find the photo by Frank Meister of the two Burlington E-5s pulling the KCZ/ARZ train into the Kansas City station in the June issue of "Trains & Travel" magazine, on page 28. The cover story for that issue is "This Train to the Coronation" featuring a night shot of a steam locomotive in the U.K. 

As the KCZ ARZ excursion train approaches, moving east, towards the Broadway Bridge, it appears the photographer managed to get most of the consist in the camera frame.  The train may be 8 or 9 cars long with a 10-6 and a 6-4-6 sleeper directly in line after (or ahead of) Vista Dome Parlor Silver Terrace. The Vista Dome in the distance is obviously a Vista Dome Dorm Coach Buffet car (i.e. Silver Patio or Silver Garden).
