Hi Hol, Were these cars rebuilt as chair cars in 1943 at the government’s insistence (apparently they didn’t like parlor-observations because they could sell more seats in coaches)? The GN observations on the Empire Builder were rebuilt to coaches at about the same time, and then after the war were returned to their original configurations. Note that the car name "RIVERVIEW" is one word, not two. I'm also including some photos that may interest you.
