A shot of the north side of the Loveland depot is attached. Note the common brick used on the lower part of the wall where it would have been covered up by the platform.

I have a friend who was unloading a farm truck at that grain elevator behind the train, evidently there was welding going on up in the top somewhere and an explosion occurred; he was killed by falling concrete. I believe it was a year or so after I graduated from high school, so around 1974 or 75. The picture is great as I can see the general shape of the elevator. No if I could find some pictures of the Loveland station that are taken from the north or maybe dimensions for the station. Steve Fuchs near Walla Walla
