I have a friend who was unloading a farm truck at that grain elevator behind the train, evidently there was welding going on up in the top somewhere and an explosion occurred; he was killed by falling concrete. I believe it was a year or so after I graduated from high school, so around 1974 or 75. The picture is great as I can see the general shape of the elevator. No if I could find some pictures of the Loveland station that are taken from the north or maybe dimensions for the station.
