According to the 1918 valuation study the depot measures 30 by 178 feet. This includes the passenger section, the freight section, and the intervening porte cochere. I will check to see whether I have a photo of the north end. Google Street View may be your friend in this regard as the depot is still there.

I have a friend who was unloading a farm truck at that grain elevator behind the train, evidently there was welding going on up in the top somewhere and an explosion occurred; he was killed by falling concrete. I believe it was a year or so after I graduated from high school, so around 1974 or 75. The picture is great as I can see the general shape of the elevator. No if I could find some pictures of the Loveland station that are taken from the north or maybe dimensions for the station. Steve Fuchs near Walla Walla
