These were not what were used on the GP-7's and GP-9's. I believe the early heaters were made by Vapor, but at this late date, I'm not sure anymore, but they were basically water heaters, i.e. they heated the block water and indirectly heated the lube oil. I know they did nothing for fuel oil problems.
