Charlie,

While you're at it why not ask them to put a scale conductor figure on the rear
platform with DCC controllable operating lantern so they can charge $250?

Richard-

You are correct……what number are you going to use so they can be sure to
duplicate it as well???

I can make it happen. I have the Bachmann body, the Athearn underbody and
frame, the Q Connection laser-cut windows, the stack and vent, and the decals.
Once I get the car completed Bachmann will announce the upgrade. I'll try to
get it done soon to hurry the process along.

That would be great if you could convince them, Charlie. Its a model that
would certainly fill a gap.

Good luck.

Jim-

Not a bad idea. With the CB&Q (three paint jobs) and BN (probably a few
variations) it might be worthwhile for them to “upgrade” the car with a better
underframe, trucks, and end railings/ladder.

I will try to mention it to Lee Riley the next time I see him.

Thanks,
Charlie

Charlie, with Bachman upgrading their ho locomotive line do you think they
would entertain a plastic factory detailed waycar? With their body shell mold
already cut it might be feasible to them. It would be of interest to modelers
of the 50's through 80's with 4 paint schemes.

Your thoughts as a respected member of the industry? Hint hint, wink wink.
