By my "measurement" (folded piece of notebook paper recording the angle between the nose apex and top of the anticlimber) the nose angle of the 1st generation shovelnoses (PZ, Flying Yankee, MTZ)power units is 67.5 degrees, the E5 is 70 degrees and the 9908 is 72 degrees. I've had the good fortune to put "hands on" all five units. Randy -- Randy Gordon-Gilmore http://www.prototrains.com randy@prototrains.com ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
