Jack, Keosauqua did indeed have a creamery, it was a local coop started in the 1927. In 1934 they produced 1,862,166 lbs of butter. 2,700 farmers were members of the coop. The building still stands in downtown Keosauqua. In addition a second building was located on the local Rock Island track in Keosauqua, where butter was stored and loaded for shipment. This second building also stands.

As to the CBQ line, west of Farmington in Van Buren County, stations were Willets, Mt Sterling, Niles, Cantril and Milton. I will have to ask about a Creamery in Mt Sterling, believe there was one in Milton.
