Charlie, I also have two of these BLI E-units reserved but have been wondering whether the side panels will be plated (metallic) or painted. The BLI web photos show painted but at least one of the references says stainless steel. I haven't done my homework yet on prototype photos of 9964 or 9967 to see which they had and when. If the plated version had the same finish as the CZ cars that would be fine with me, although I prefer the plating on the single Walthers E-7 from a couple of years ago.
